In this epicenter of music and the arts in Bearsville, the creative proprietor, Albert Grossman, nurtured the artists who were leaders of the uprising: Bob Dylan, The Band, Janis Joplin, Todd Rundgren and many others took the music world by storm, setting fire to the way music was recorded and performed in America.
Today, Albert’s 16-acre visionary paradise has been re-invigorated. A renovation completed in 2021-2022 polished up this utopian treasure and repurposed it as a destination for everyone to enjoy.
